Hi Christian,

Thanks for your response.

As ROOT
# netstat -rn
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags MSS Window irtt Iface
203.78.85.88 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 UH 40 0 0 ppp0
192.168.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 40 0 0 eth0
127.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 U 40 0 0 lo
0.0.0.0 203.78.85.88 0.0.0.0 UG 40 0 0 ppp0

My late discovery is the "smtp.server" seems not working

# telnet smtp.server.com 25 telnet: smtp.server.com: Name or service not known smtp.server.com: Unknown host

Do you know how advise how to fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Stephen,

Have you checked to see if you have network routes set up on your
server? What is the output of "netstat -rn" ?

There should be a GATEWAY=nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn line in your
/etc/sysconfig/network file that lets your server know when to send all
the traffic destined outside of your network.
