Question: Does one still have to manually configure scanner support?

There was nothing at all to configure. It worked when I clicked on the application launcher. My scanner is an HP ScanJet 2100C.

hmmm... your's is a different reply from what I got here a while ago. Is this a USB
connected device, or a SCSI connected scanner? Aside from the mp3 support (a VERY
sore point with me), and having to manually configure my Epson Perfection 610 USB
scanner....

I have yet another two QUESTIONs:

Has the problem of Nautlius / Mozilla remembering the default window size been fixed?
Do joysticks or other pointing devices have to be manually configured?

Elton.
