Lovely. Sounds like the initrd got screwed up. Boot off the rescue floppy (you DID build one, didn't you?) and run an fsck against the root partition of the hard drive. If you didn't make a rescue floppy, then you'll need to boot another version of RHEL in rescue mode and run the fsck from there. Also, AS2.1 is REALLY, REALLY ancient. It's not supported any longer and hasn't been for at least three years. Why haven't you upgraded to RHEL3 or RHEL4 or their free counterparts, CentOS? > > Thanks > > -- > Luis > > _______________________________________________ > Redhat-install-list mailing list > Redhat-install-list@xxxxxxxxxx > https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-install-list > To Unsubscribe Go To ABOVE URL or send a message to: > redhat-install-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx > Subject: unsubscribe ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Rick Stevens, Senior Systems Engineer rstevens@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx - - VitalStream, Inc. http://www.vitalstream.com - - - - LOOK OUT!!!
