Not really. Remember, RHEL AS3 was a 2.4-based kernel while RHEL AS4 is a 2.6-based kernel. Lots of things changed there (the C libraries, the directory structures, package contents, lots of stuff). You may get it to work, but it'll be a truly mucked up system.
