Okay... the only thing that I see is that I'm still at glibc
-45
and not -48.

Okay... Now where the heck is the problem then? Very strange.
I'll have to screw around a bit and see if I can find out what the
heck is
causing this! ARGE!
I would think this is either caused by a kernel/glibc mismatch due to
NPTL or some packages being miscompiled/misoptimized now since the
switch to gcc-3.3. I for myself have verified that mozilla-1.4 breaks
on PPC if compiled by gcc-3.3.
