I remember well. I got it (Slackware) on a book by Matt Welsh.
When I discovered that was "old" I bought a boxed set and read the
printed manuals.
When I got OS/2, I read the manuals. OS/2 has a fine set of online
manuals, but they are a little hard to follow. I became famous for
having one of the best OS/2 help sites on the web. I still find people
who used to use my website as their personal reference.
yes, I remember what it's like to be new, and I know the cure, and the
cure is
Read the documentation.
Anyone who takes the time to read the RH manuals (they're on the
documentation CD) and makes a decent effort to understand it will become
moderately capable.
