this is just my opinion and i dont say it's right or perfect one.

for me i think if u plan to do more ms interaction project learn .NET . but if not go with PHP.

but eventually, you will have to expand your skill set, like in my case i've been a web developer for 8 yrs. 

I can't just stick with PHP I also need to learn other Programming languages.

in the IT world you should have a broad knowledge on everything but a master of something.
