Photography -- RE: Super Moon frenzy

Earthrise was taken as Apollo 8 made its first orbit of the moon and was coming from the backside of the moon. It was a wonderful photo taken that appeared much like you might see the sun or moon rise here, but it was the earth. What we do know is Bill Anders, Frank Borman and Jim Lovell were all taking pictures. What we don't know is which camera it came from. If you ask Jim, he claims he took it. Ditto for the others. We know it was one of the three, but which??

Funny thing is that most of the astronauts were very good photographers. One is now an artist and some stunning work of what it must have been like to stand on the moon comes from a man that did just that. Yet on his lunar mission he forgot to secure a camera and on splashdown it hit him in the head. No wonder he picked up a paint brush.
