Herschel, Your trip sounds like it was fantastic!I was in Santa Fe this summer for the first time ever and went absolutely nuts over the galleries full of photography. It was all my daughter could to do get me to return home!

UnbelievableStaying with a 93 year old lady in Laguna Beach CA who still drives to work and is as sharp as a razor. She still wears shorts and goes walking. Venice Beach CA... wow... Makes me want to drop out, light up and join the hippies on the beach. Throw the cameras, lights etc in the sea. There's a wild hippie in the depths of me... Professor Gene Poschman and Annie Mester of UC Berkeley who made thier house in the Berkeley hills our home for 2 weeks. Wall to wall and floor to ceiling -books and an old Nikon F system which he donated to my causeCalumet store in San Francisco The beauty of Oregon and the delightful Portland and Salem New York NY B&H photo.. in the flesh. What a store! Times square at 2 AMNow I'm back in the desert of Arabia...
