Shyrell, I sent you, off list, photos of my card reader.Card readers are much preferred since the camera is available when using a card reader, there is little chance of the camera falling, and little chance of the images being corrupted because of battery failure in the camera. (Murphy's Law).
With a card reader, as someone said, you use whatever software you want like Photoshop Elements or ??????
They plug into a USB port and look like a hard drive to the operating system and are easy to use.
