Well, forums seem to be preferred nowadays, but mailing lists are still useful, the questions and answers are brought to you, and you don't have to peruse trough message boards. I almost never use forums, i don't have the time. But you can fins some answers when you have a problem to solve, but using google :).

I have been on this list for a very long time, and have not contributed, but today i wanted to say something. I miss some group projects in the past, but the list is still useful.

In the heyday of mail lists ... about 10 years ago ... PhotoForum had about 800 members. When we started the ball rolling we had about 25 ... that is a significant increase!! - so I guess it depends on how you look at it!!

But if you want more members ... go to it!!! ;)
