[PHP] postmaster does not start

Hello,

I hope someone has the solution:

Our freebsd server rebooted but when i run the command to start postgres

/usr/local/etc/rc.d/010.pgsql.sh start -D /usr/local/pgsql/data

I get the message:
pg_ctl: postmaster does not start

What could be the cause?
