[OS:N:] Open office community classes | |
| [Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] | |
Tonight I am going to be pitching open source products to a local community college for use in their community classes. (think grandma's and grandpa's). For starters I know I will be pitching openoffice and gimp. I may touch on Linux in general. Are there any other products that anyone thinks I should push? I was also thinking of mentioning tuxpaint and offering it as something fun for parents to do with their children for a night...and at home too. I could see my wife and I going to the class with our kids and at the end giving all the parents a gnuwin CD so that they could install Tux Paint (and all the other open source software available on it). -Chris ------------ "Restriction of free thought and free speech is the most dangerous of all subversions.
