Hi,

Just a quick update. I found a package for Solaris that has GNU patch, I
downloaded, installed GNU patch, and applied your patch below, and it
looks like we have moved past the initial problem, thank you very much!!

the modem starts up OK and i can connect to it using the Solaris "tip"
utility. i will perform some testing and let you know how I get on. Once
everything is working, I will post a step by step instructions on how to
setup t38modem on Solaris 10.
