I got it.

In case anyone else hits the same problem, the culprit is this, in
openh323u.mak :

ifndef OH323_LIBDIR
OH323_LIBDIR = $(OPENH323DIR)/lib

That's not x86-64 safe. On an x86-64 system, it should be
$(OPENH323DIR)/lib64 . I passed OH323_LIBDIR (OH323_LIBDIR=%_libdir ,
which resolves to /usr/lib or /usr/lib64 as appropriate) in the 'make'
command in the spec file and it went OK. Not sure what would be the
correct way for it to be fixed upstream.

Thanks :)
