Hi Paul,
Great to see your immediate response.Thank you very much. I
have explored the possibilities mentioned by you. I regularly look at Packetizer
site first for any of my doubts on H.323. I have the recommendations downloaded
ftom the ITU-T site also. When i try to copy the ASN part from that and save it
as a separate asn file and compile. I get syntax errors. Since i am not aware of
the ASN rules, i dont modify them. Thats why i wanted to know if there is any
other way i can get the correct ASN files without any errors. Can you please
assist me in getting the proper ASN files without any syntax errors
?
Otherwise what can I do to overcome the syntax errors. I get
errors like this :
ASN1C Compiler, Version 6.03
Copyright (c) 1997-2007 Objective Systems, Inc. All Rights Reserved. License expire date is Thu Jul 05 13:30:02
2007
Parsing config file
'D:/OpenH323/voiphs/ASNCompiler/WithCfg/h450.cfg'..
Parsing ASN.1 definitions.. D:\OpenH323\voiphs\ASNCompiler\WithCfg\H4503.asn(255): error: syntax error at notation '}' D:\OpenH323\voiphs\ASNCompiler\WithCfg\H4503.asn : 1 syntax error(s) detected I am using the Obective Systems's ASN1C evaluation version to
compile them.
Your suggestions and feedbacks will be of great help. Please do
assist.
Thanks & Regards,

the exception of H.450-related ASN.1 files, I keep copies of all of the ASN.1
files with all changes as per the Implementers Guide stored
here: http://www.packetizer.com/voip/h323/standards.html Also,
you can get a copy of the ASN.1 files directly from the various ITU
documents. Editor’s drafts are available on that page, but you can also
download the published Recommendations directly from the ITU at no
