previous to the latest commit
(I don't remember right now who made it); now, although I haven't tried
compiling it, it is certainly fixed.

You are absolutely right, using the main branch is the simplest thing to
do, I was only trying to find a way to make my patch more noticed :-),
I admit that maybe my entire approach was completely wrong and not
appropriate for an open community like this one, so I am asking here to
everyone who reads this message: are we (I mean me and my company) the
only users of pwlib who have experienced this kind of problem?
Is it not better to prevent it, now that is known? If there are
technical/implementation issues, I'm open to other ways to do it.
Talking about patches, I resent one applied to the latest revision, as
you asked; I created another one just to avoid a little code replication
created
by the merging of a patch I sent and another one which was older but you
applied later.
