SAN BRUNO PIPELINE SECTIONS PHOTO
AVAILABILITY FOR NEWS MEDIA ************************************************************ The
National Transportation Safety Board has scheduled a photo
availability of the pieces of ruptured pipeline from this month's
fatal accident in San Bruno, California. The photo
availability is for credentialed representatives of the news media.
The three pieces of pipe - the 27-foot ruptured pipe
piece, the 15-foot north piece and the 11-foot south piece - are
in a laboratory at the Board's Training Center in
Ashburn, Virginia for examination. WHAT: Photo availability of San Bruno, California
pipeline pieces WHEN: Thursday, September 30, 2010, 2 p.m. to
2:30 p.m. WHERE: NTSB Training Center, 45065 Riverside
Drive, Ashburn, Virginia This event
is open to credentialed video and still photography
members of the news media only. This is a photo availability
only; no interviews or briefings will be conducted. No

Proceed west on the Dulles Toll Road to Route 28,
north on Route 28 to Route 7, west on Route 7 to
Loudoun County Parkway (Route 607), north on 607 to stop sign,
right onto George Washington Boulevard and then left onto
Riverside to 45065. (Plan for at least one hour's travel
