Safety Recommendation H-09-3

The National Transportation Safety Board makes the following recommendation to the

Compressed Gas Association:

 Revise the recommended practices in Compressed Gas Association standard G-1.6, section 7,

General Provisions, to require automated water deluge systems at all mobile acetylene trailer

loading and unloading locations to control the spread of fire to other cylinders on a trailer and to

nearby mobile acetylene trailers. (H-09-3)
