NTSB TO LAUNCH A GO-TEAM TO PIPELINE ACCIDENT IN MISSISSIPPI

Washington, DC -- The National Transportation Safety Board 
is sending a Go Team to Theadville, Mississippi to 
investigate a pipeline explosion there today.

Rod Dyck has been designated Investigator-in- Charge of the 
eleven-member team. NTSB Vice Chairman Robert L. Sumwalt 
will accompany the team and he will serve as principal 
spokesman for the on-scene investigation. Terry Williams is 
the press officer traveling with the team.

Once the team arrives in Mississippi on Friday morning, Mr. 
Williams can be reached on his cell phone at (202) 557-
