Mplayer-mt missing

The download link from the mplayer front page to mplayer-mt branch is 
404.  Is this project still supported, or will I have to bite the bullet 
and learn how to configure/use the fandangled vdau/vdaai (or whatever)? 
solutions for HD playback?

(If anyone is keeping track, I really really loved mplayer-mt the past 2 
years, many thanks.)
