VDPAU stuttering when playing x264 encoded media

Does this happen with -vc ffh264vdpau -vo vdpau or -vc ffh264 -vo vdpau or both?
With a specific sample or with every sample?
Am I correct you are using FreeBSD? Which driver version and what kind of VDPAU
hardware?
