I currently use RH9 and see that I will have to make a choice soon about what to go with. From a price point standpoint, I am inclined (if I use RHEL) to use the WS flavor. However, there are certain apps within the ES version that I would need to add, e.g. DHCP, VSFTPD, etc. Can I use the WS flavor and download/install what I need, e.g. vsftpd? Do I have to go to the developer web sites to get what I need, or will these be available from RH? If the packages I want won't be available (for the RHEL flavor I choose) from RH, what is the impact of going to the developer web site of a particular app and downloading/installing? ----------------------------------------------------------------- Mike McCandless michael@xxxxxxxxxxxx _______________________________________________ Redhat-migration-list mailing list Redhat-migration-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-migration-list
