Re: Has anyone successfully migrated off and NT Domain Server to aLinux based server with SAMBA?
Tim,
I have been able to make samba play nicely as a PDC back in the days of
Red Hat Linux 6.2+updates, but it required a lot of hackery in order to
get it "right". iirc, I had to create accounts for machines in order to
allow the machines to log on to the domain.
As I said, this was a long long time ago and I understand that doing
this has become significantly easier, but I don't know how much so.
Best of luck.
