Hi Folks, I have a Dell Desktop and I want to put HylaFAX on it. First I have to install Linux. I am too lazy to haul out the CRT/Keyboard/Mouse for a console and I want to do my install using the locally attached CD and somehow direct the console over the net to notebook. I see lots of examples of console=ttyS0 and I have done that in the past. This time I have no serial port on the notebook. Anybody have any ideas about: 1) Starting telnet during install so I can telnet into the headless box 2) Specifying the notebook IP address a la DISPLAY=... So the headless will display on the notebook. 3) Some other alternative that will let me control the install from the notebook over the net. Chris.
