Are there any known issues with NSCD under RedHat Linux

Hello,

 

We're having some issues here under which user can not login onto systems

And user can not do a "ps -elf", "ls -la" or "df -k", etc. it seems like
these issues

Have been around for the longest on linux as I see some e-mail on google
going

Over same problem I'm having but I don't see any solution to it.

 

We have come across situation on which we have killed "nscd" and once we do

That system come back to normal behavior.

 

Does anyone have any idea on how we can solve this?
