Making sence of /proc/meminfo

All,

I'm trying to make sense of /proc/meminfo. The numbers don't seem to add
up. I'm ultimately trying to create a stacked graph in Cacti where:
      memused + MemFree + (Cached + Buffers) = MemTotal

The best documentation of /proc/meminfo I could find is at:
http://lwn.net/Articles/28345/
Is here a better source of meminfo documentation out there?

Here's the meminfo output from one of my servers for reference:
# cat /proc/meminfo
                total: used: free:
shared: buffers: cached:
Mem: 921686016 616235008 305451008 0 70254592 424218624
Swap: 1998700544 60358656 1938341888
MemTotal: 900084 kB
MemFree: 298292 kB
MemShared: 0 kB
Buffers: 68608 kB
Cached: 372816 kB
SwapCached: 41460 kB
Active: 311864 kB
Inactive: 189684 kB
HighTotal: 0 kB
HighFree: 0 kB
LowTotal: 900084 kB
LowFree: 298292 kB
SwapTotal: 1951856 kB
SwapFree: 1892912 kB

Thanks,
Rich B.
