pppoe-server + linux

Hi again,

Let me rephrase my post as my first post wasnt propperly posted:

I would like to find out what the best or preferred methods are for connecting wireless networks or LAN( a whole building full of people) to the internet . My first thought were pppoe and radius,
I;ve been googling a bit around and only documentation i could find was http://www.hpi.net/whitepapers/warta/ which uses pppoe over wireless, that ponts me in the right direction. For wireless they say EAP and EAP-TTLS is the standard method, but if I connect hundreds of clients they all will require a certificate and the common access points bridges dont support EAP.

I'm thinking of using VPN for wireless and everyone as this works well with radius and poptop?

Only problem with vpn, I would have to assign them ips via dhcp then they would have to connect to a specific vpn server, while with pppoe u can just use a pppoe client and connect

Any advice would be much apreciated

Thanks

Jandre
