On Windows, there are tools that you can run, such as Info Bag Pro, that gather up info about your machine hardware. Are there any command line tools on Linux that will gather info about your hardware, i.e. motherboard make and manufacture, ram type, hard drive manufacturer and model etc. I need to figure out what motherboard is in a particular machine so I can order the proper ram for it.
