Hello, I have an immediate issue that I would welcome suggestions as to the most appropriate manner of dealing with this problem. I have a server running RH 9. I acts as my main mail server, a secondary DNS server and a secondary web server for developing projects. We never had, or had the need to until now, imposed quotas on our users mailboxes. We took on a large client for a web development project and ended up with 350 plus mail users, all of whom tend to leave mail on the server. From what I understand, there is no easy way to get quotas running without disrupting service to my users. Am I wrong? Anyway, the bigger more immediate issue is that my / partition is now full and I am looking for suggestions on how to deal with this. Is there a way to add a new drive into the mix and soft link the users home directories over to it? When this machine was first set up, it was set up with a / partition that was much too small and ultimately I will replace this machine with a different one that is more appropriately set up. Here is my current situation: Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/hda2 572M 572M 0 100% / /dev/hda1 122M 29M 87M 25% /boot /dev/hda3 5.4G 2.1G 3.1G 41% /home none 496M 0 496M 0% /dev/shm /dev/hda7 28G 15G 12G 56% /usr /dev/hda5 2.0G 1.4G 436M 77% /var Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
