I just set up a new machine with Mandrake 9.1 and I'm getting this error when trying to build evms-1.2.1: /usr//bin/ld: cannot find -lpthread >From my googling this seems to be a bug in Mandrake 9.1? I've compiled this software before on multiple distros (earlier Mandrakes included) and never seen this error. I don't know where to look for whatever is causing this. 'Full' error as returned by compiler: make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/evms-1.2.1/engine/UserInterface/utilities' gcc -L/usr/src/evms-1.2.1/engine/Engine -L/usr/src/evms-1.2.1/engine/dlist -static -o evms_devnode_fixup evms_devnode_fixup.o -levms -ldlist -lpthread -ldl /usr//bin/ld: cannot find -lpthread collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [evms_devnode_fixup] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/evms-1.2.1/engine/UserInterface/utilities' make: *** [all] Error 1 Anyone have any ideas?
