cron problem

Hello linuxmanagers,

I have a problem.

Linux server Redhat 7.3, running 24/7
crond is running, however not every scripts in cron.daily executing
every day.

for instance i have set up that logrotate should be running every
night at 11 pm. I've modified /etc/logrotate.conf to do the job daily
and add the script to the /etc/cron.daily

however script runs most of the time, but once or twice a week (out of
the blue) it's not doing anything....


any ideas?
