Sorry, everyone. I meant to say I am using Red Hat Linux 7.0 The board I am having a real problem with is the Digi Neo board. Ive found some older boards that dont have the printing problem I described, but they are either discontinued or much more expensive. And my boss is cheap. What can I say? Anyway, if anyone has any advise on using digi products for serial printers in Red Hat Linux 7.0, please let me know. And one more thing. I gave an example from my set in SCO Unix of a background process that fixed it there. That same process doesnt work in Red Hat Linux (with modifications to accommodate the TTY number change, etc.) Thanks!
