PRE-SUMMARY FOLLOWUP : a _REALLY_ off-topic post

Hey, lots and lots of great replies. Gonna take some time to check out the
pluses and minuses of the various suggestions. Leaning toward something on the
bike as opposed to on me but we'll see. Thanks for the replies! Will post
summary ASAP.

Apologies in advance. No offense taken if I get no replies but spare me the
flames.

It's finally warming up here in the Midwest and it's got me thinking about
resuming my bicycle commute to work (3 miles each way). I've never been
fanatical about it but definitely want to pick up the pace this year and make
it a more often than not thing.

Problem is, since this time last year, the powers-that-be have dictated that
you absolutely *MUST* carry your laptop home with you each night (in case a
team member needs assistance or one of the tech centers gets nuked or
something like that).

I've searched the web for several weeks and haven't found anything that
strikes me as ideal. Most everything is a knapsack or courier bag type thing
and, given a choice, I'd rather carry the PC on the bike's frame than my own.
I'm surprised at how few PC related products there are on the market... The
laptop is a generic Dell Latitude. Anyone have any experience here? Thanks.
