checkpoint firewall

I've been trying to install Checkpoint Firewall-1 on linux (redhat7.3). 
My initial problems were that I had not installed the sharutil package 
or the zip/unzip pkgs. After correcting that I installed the NG s/w then 
when trying to install FP2 I got an error about the wrong OS. Using 
strace I found the install program looking in /etc/redhat-release so I 
changed 7.3 to 7.2 and the install program was happy. Has anyone on the 
list installed Firewall-1 on redhat? Is 7.3 supported?
