frozen ipop3d process

Hello,

i've got a problem with a frozen ipop3d process which holds certain 
users mailbox.
Tried kill -9, SIGHUPed inetd, nothing helps... anyone knows how I can 
kill the "bastard"?

All hints are more the just welcome, thank you in advance!

Small grep...:

root@lbox:~# ps -auxww | grep ipop3d
godnovt  15574 72.2  1.6  8148 5460 ?        R    Feb28 6263:49 ipop3d
