To make long story short: various distributions include NTFS support with various degrees of integration, but concensus is that R/O access is fairly stable, while R/W (if any) is just for those who like to live dangerously. The project home is here: http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/info/redhat.html I also got a pointer to ext2fs 'explorer' for various flavors of Windows: http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/explore2fs.htm As far as I understand from first glance at the site, it is not FS driver in the sense that you can mount the volume. Thanks to Dusan, Gavin, Sudheesh, Francisco, Brett and others who might have replied in the meantime. Great resource, this list!
