Sendmail Problem

Hello,

I have a problem that, I can not find any information
on.  I am running sendmail 8.11.2, when a client tries
to sent mail to most outside our domain; I receive
"Stat=Data format error" no status of mail sent in
maillog.  Any suggestions would be very helpfull.  I
did a search on google found the error message, no
workarounds.
