Ive been using the CD record function on our newest IBM PCs in Red Hat Linux 7.0 Its been working great! But the last couple of machines I have configured are now getting a message during the CD record: ide-scsi: the scsi wants to send us more data than expected discarding data transferred 1 of 2 bytes This message appears twice and then the recording process completes. Ive checked the CD it was creating and it looks just fine. The data is on it and completely accessible. Is there any danger is what it is saying? Is there any way to stop the message from displaying (its going to bother my users.) Ive seen lots of messages about this message, but I dont see much of a solution. Anybody got any ideas on what is going on? Thanks!
