imaps ssl certificate

does anyone know where I can get a SSL certificate for IMAPS running on RedHat
Linux.

Im trying to use the SSL option in outlook over port 993, it works; but I get
a message "the server you are connected to is using a security certificate
that could not be verified"  so do I need only get a cert by a CA for my
server
and do I need to put this certificate into outlook via the accounts > security
tab or is this tab just used for
peer to peer security through non secure mail servers?
