Project Management Software

Our VP of Engineering needs to use some project management software for 
some big jobs. Of course, he "needs" to use Microsoft Project 2000. And 
I have very little time to convince him otherwise.

Please suggest some open-source alternatives that will manage multiple 
projects with multiple tasks and print a Gantt chart.
