Network profiles on laptop

I'm using RedHat 7.2 on a Dell C610.

I'm trying to set up my laptop such that when I boot up my network
configuration is automatically set: I use dhcp at home, and a fixed IP
address at work. I've read the laptop howto and they suggest either
netenv or divine; however, I haven't found much information on how to
use these with RedHat 7.2.

netenv seems straightforward if one uses lilo where one can pass an
environment variable before the boot process. I've been unable to
figure out from the grub man page on how to do it with grub. When I use
the netenv "helper" application, it also doesn't seem to allow dhcp.

divine seems more complicated and I haven't gotten into it as much.

Does anyone have experience with setting up a network profiles? If so,
could they give a couple of pointers.

Scott

P.S. Because we all use RedHat at work, switching to Mandrake is not
really an option.
