ethereal - more info

The version info is:

Redhat 7.2, kernel 2.4.7-10
ethereal 0.8.18-9

I did the traces using ltrace and strace. Thanks to Sean Ryan for reminding
me about these. I had used them before but it's been awhile and didn't
remember about them. It's been a little while since I wrote any code. I'm
going to peruse them for anything that appears unusual. They're excessively
large, but are included as attachments if anyone can point to something in
them that looks odd.

Also, Matthew Boeckman pointed out that 'tethereal' is the command line
utility. I tried this and it appears to work fine. I forgot to mention that
I am attempting to run ethereal from a KDE session.

I tried to send the trace dumps, but it got kicked back because the message
was too large.

Thanks,
Todd
