Summary - CUPS and Epson Stylus C80

Thanks to all who responded to my problem getting an Epson Stylus C80 to print
using CUPS.

I received several messages, the most informative from Carl Mason who pointed
out that CUPS actually writes an error log file and that I would need
Gimp-Print to get the C80 to function correctly.  

I wish that I could say that this has been a successful project, but thanks to
Carl, et al, I am a lot closer than a few days ago.

If anyone has any idea where I can find the "gimptool script" that the
./configure routine for Gimp-Print abends after not locating, maybe I can quit
posting problems <G>.
