Multiple NIS Servers Under Linux

So.  All the documentation says that you can have multiple NIS servers
(only for failover, I don't care about load balancing right now) but it
doesn't say how.

Can anyone point me at the right combination of voodoo to put in the
/etc/yp.conf file?  I've tried everything obvious and none of it seems
to work when I actually test it by pulling out the cat5 from the primary
NIS server.

I will summarize.
