Howdy! I've been on the Sun Managers list for some time, but am a newbie here. I'm assuming that the etiquette is the same. Anyway... I'm planning to migrate from our Sun Ultra2 running Solaris 2.5.2 Server to an as yet unspecified Linux server. I'm looking for advice, pointers to resources, websites, and books that might help me with planning and the transition. To be specific... Our Sun provides the following services: DNS NIS NFS Automount several license managers Clients run a mix of Win*, SunOS, Solaris, and Linux. I've read in the archives that Automount has some incompatibilities. thanks Rich B. _______________________________________________ LinuxManagers mailing list - http://www.linuxmanagers.org submissions: LinuxManagers@linuxmanagers.org subscribe/unsubscribe: http://www.linuxmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/linuxmanagers
