Hi Managers,
I would like to automate the shutdown of my linux system (RedHat 7).
I am planning to write a tool that will automate the shutdown.
My questions are.
* I must save all the unsaved, open files ( how to do this ?).
I read lsof man pages will this help me?
My plan is to start the shutdown when the UPS gives low poewer signal.
Please suggest some good readings and how to go about doing this.
regards
sudheesh
