Cleanup usb-serial driver usage of the usb_driver structures

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Previously we had to set the usb_serial_* functions explicitly in each
individual usb to serial driver. This patch set removes that and just
sets it in the usb-serial core once, making the drivers smaller and
easier to write.

Also, the last 2 patches in the series removes the reset_resume callback
in the driver to use the reset callback in the usb_serial function
instead, which is what was getting called anyway as the usb-serial core
was making this call anyway.
