[PATCH 0/3] small tgt patches

Hello Tomo-san,

Here are some patches that have been in the queue for a while, and wanted to
send along. Also, while I still do not see the bug for the corruption issue
we've been chasing, it does seem the hash is extraneous, so I've
included a tested patch removing it, for your review.
