network driver scatter/gather test

Hi,

I would like to know the way to test scatter-gather in a network driver. 
Recently I added the SG support to one NIC driver, but I'm not able to 
figure out how to test the feature. I am using 'sendfile' to transfer a file 
through that network interface. Never do I see 'skb_shinfo(skb)->nr_frags > 
0' in the driver transmit routine.
